I'll continue to recommend your My Way Marketing Plan to those who've been searching for their own unique, personalized approach to marketing."

"I found that I could market my business using my passions.  By doing so actually made marketing fun again!"

"The My Way Marketing Plan workshop has been a tremendous asset to the students and graduates at The Meta Institute.

Beth, you provide such an enjoyable, fun & inspiring atmosphere for students to explore and create new possibilities for marketing themselves and their business.  We highly recommend this workshop for business people who want to have a practical, easy, unique way to learn about effective marketing."

Cindy

Marketing On The Playground was very helpful for me to break the barriers I had placed around what "marketing" meant. I had it very narrowly defined, in a way that was only energy depleting. For me, to be in an atmosphere of fun and movement, with other people brainstorming was very energizing and it opened me to a very different way of thinking about marketing. I think my biggest realization was that I could use all the things I loved and was passionate about in my business, and then market it to those "like minded" people. I have had many insights since our group.

Although I am introverted, another wonderful discovery I made was that when I am excited about something, I can use that energy to propel me into situations that might otherwise feel draining. For example, since our meeting last week, I have made several cold calls about topics that interest me...and it worked out well and gave me more energy, instead of being depleting as I might have expected. In fact, over the past 10 days, if you didn't know better...you might guess I was quite an extroverted person! I hadn't tried pushing myself like this for a long time, and it was really very exciting and rewarding!

One particular learning - that marketing can be just talking with people that I meet in my life about what I do...and letting it grow from that place of comfort and of personal interest. I don't have to go into "Corporate America” if my passion and interest is not there!

Thanks again!

Robin

I credit Marketing On The Playground with helping me get to the point of setting up my new Therapeutic Coaching (TM) business and painlessly marketing it. The program showed me an alternative way to view marketing that made it seem safe, desirable and even fun! Along with a LOT of help from my friends, I've been able to take baby steps toward marketing confidently and with no stress. Now my only question is, what kind of teas to offer to my clients?! I've come a LONG WAY!

This fun program helped me realize that I am in control of marketing my business, and therefore I am free to find ways to market that fit me. One of the greatest benefits was suggesting approaching marketing as a team sport - it's so much easier than doing it alone! It's fun!!!

Friends have helped me create a business card and brochure; work through some lingering doubts about the biz and kept me motivated and energized. Also, thinking in terms of "mutual benefit" has helped me move out of a negative space and into a positive one about offering my services.

Playfully yours,
Robin

"When I attended Marketing on the Playground, I was running two separate businesses, trying to please each and every person who could potentially be a customer, and worrying even more about the people who didn't want to be my customers. I was operating out of "I should do this" and "I should do that" and not liking the feeling of fear growing in the pit of my stomach. I was stuck.

During the process of the MOTP playshop I experienced a revelation: I don't have to do business the way a person "should", I can run my business the way I want to. That may sound like a common sense revelation, but it hit with enough force to stun me. I felt it, and believed it, at a gut level.

The week following the playshop, I combined my two businesses and began to brainstorm how to move forward. I felt like a huge weight had lifted from my shoulders and I was leaping forward fast. I was operating from a place of excitement instead of fear.

As I continued to move forward, I found some new fears beginning to pop up, starting to hold me back again. I began working one-on-one with Beth. She helped me to identify the fears and move past them! I found support and accountability with our coaching, which propelled me so much farther than I could have done on my own. My sales and partnerships with other companies have increased dramatically. I have found a motivated "board of directors" who provide incentive, ideas, and a base of support from which to drive my business to the next level. I can say, without a doubt, my business would not be where it is today without Marketing On The Playground.

Thank you, Beth, for providing the resources and coaching I needed to learn to operate from excitement and strengths, instead of fears and shoulds. My business will never be the same."
