Marketing On The Playground. Make marketing fun!

Marketing on the Playground Offers Adventures in Success

Minneapolis, MN  Beth Woodward of Marketing on the Playground has developed a niche that springs from her passion as a Business Coach – she creates forums for business women to help other women advance their business in unique and adventurous settings.  In October, 30 women participated in a brainstorming program while riding a train through scenic Northern Minnesota.  In February another event will take place with business women participating as an advisory and brainstorming team for one another while enjoying High Tea in Stillwater.

What Woodward offers to women are events that allow peer women to gather and contribute their expertise in various business practices and ideation in teams of four.   In 2007, Woodward is launching monthly morning events that will be held in unique and creative locations such as the St. Paul based Train Museum, The Cooks of Crocus Hill and the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre to name a few.   With an emphasis on interaction, these events will serve as advisory and brainstorming teams.  Woodward has created a structure for the events that will allow entrepreneurs and seasoned women in business to benefit from the success of others.

“My core passion is connecting Business women in unique settings that create a fun environment,” said Woodward.  “The “Trainstorming” event jump started the idea and from my initial feedback Twin Cities Businesswomen are ready to get down to the serious business of bringing fun and success into their business.  I chose a train as the location of my first business-building event because of the happy memories I have of visiting my grandparents on the train as a small child.  All of the grueling details of organizing a business event were minimized because of the fun I associate with the clack of the train tracks.  I want other women to bring the fun back to their workday as well.”

Marketing on the Playground’s next specialty event will be held at the Aprille’s Showers Tea Room in Stillwater, MN, on February 16, 2007 from 10-2.   Cost for the High Tea is $64 until January 23rd and $79 after that date.   The High Tea will kick-off the two-hour monthly events which will commence in March 2007 with date and location to TBA.  Further details on the website.
