FOCUS = Less Clutter, More Time

Why did I keep saying the words

IF YOU KNEW?

I’ll give you one of the many examples that have put me back in control of my
time, days and weeks.

My Office:

     When I am in a creation time my office becomes a wind tunnel — then it stays that way.  The advantage and disadvantage of having a laptop is, I can move from room to room creating more piles. 

     One day I was in my office after I had cleaned up ALL of the old piles from the previous focus call.  Several little piles had popped up.

     In the past I would let it go until it looked like that wind tunnel again.  I would have a feeling of putting my head underground wishing it to clean itself up.

     This time I KNEW it would be completely clean and organized because I had a FOCUS call coming up.  My emotion went from HEAD IN THE SAND, TO “IN CONTROL” and Excitement!

#1. Focus Calls:

Here's how it works 
1. Call in at the top of each hour on a pre-assigned conference line.
2. We each say who we are, our name and what we want to achieve in the next hour. 
3. Hang up the phone and GET IT DONE!
4. Call back in at the top of the next hour.
5. Say what you've done and what you will continue or achieve next.
6. Repeat #3
7. We do this over four hours.  Some cannot make it the entire time but have joined in for the time they  

    can. 

 

   

I committed to join a Focus Call and try it out.  I was able to make 3-hours and I achieved far more productivity than 3-hours has ever given me. The moment I hung up the telephone, I dug in! How would your day change if you KNEW you had a team
to help you see it through and get  ‘unstuck’ (when you’re STUCK)?

The purpose of a Focus Team is simple.

• Get FOCUSED into clear steps for your week.
• Have a team behind you 100% for accountability and cheering each other on. 
• Take the action to get things DONE! 
• Get ‘Unstuck’ when you’re STUCK!
• IT’S MORE FUN!!  

What’s the Structure?
One Focus Team Call every other week 60 minutes long.  Six team members.

How will 10-minutes per call help me achieve anything?
It is not 10-minutes; it is 60-minutes, which includes:

• Laser Focus on YOU for 10-minutes
• 50-minutes to learn from your teammates as they go through their
  goal setting, planning, getting ‘unstuck’. 

 
What else can I expect? 
Accountability to bring what you’ve accomplished to each call. That includes when ‘life’ gets in the way – it’s OK, things happen, we just want you to ‘show up’ on the call and feel safe.

Team partnerships planning, cheerleading and support between calls for those that want to be email, phone or in-person buddies. 

Two Focus Calls over a 4-hour time period (check-in hourly) every other week
in-between our Focus Teams.  I get more done with a focus call than I do with any other time-management tool I have ever used.       

Remember,  the purpose of a Focus Team is simple.
You have a team behind you 100% to set your goals for the week and accountability to get them done.   You’re not alone.

What happens if I miss one of the calls, can I make it up?
Unfortunately there are no make-up calls.  This is where your team will be of great connection for you to get in touch with during the week to help and share information. 

This program created a really nice energy pulling me toward completing     my outcomes/goals instead of that dreadful feeling like I was pushing           a boulder up a hill.  I learned things from each person in the group – I was     given insights.  It was really special to me to be able to offer insights and    support back.     Beth's programs are always fun exciting and action packed.  This is no       exception.
